The Zeal of September

It's here! The first days of school are upon us. The fresh smell of newly sharpened pencils. The renewed spirit of a new school year.... and as my dear friend and colleague John Hopkins says that Zeal of September! That zeal that gets you to volunteer for 5 committees, 3 curriculum days and that horribly sweaty, uncomfortable back to school dance... That zeal that makes us think we can do anything for anybody! And just when you think the volunteering has come to a halt you see them...you see those new Chromebooks in the library. You say to yourself..."What am I going to do with these things?! Another device I have to manage and incorporate in my already heavy load of teaching!!" You complain to anyone who will listen "They want me to use these things??! Enough is enough! I cannot volunteer or offer to do one more thing and now I have give my students yet another device? No absolutely no!"
But you can and quite easily.... Incorporating tech into your class is not as difficult or as daunting as you might think. You can make it a meaningful teaching and learning experience for you and your students. Just start small. Baby steps is all it takes to get you going. Click to get my new guide for seamlessly blending tech into your class this week. The Stress Free Guide to Using Tech in Your Class
Now - While you still have that ZEAL!
Inspired By You,
Ann
